Emptying gray water
The gray tank holds all the water from the sink and shower. Dump it before you leave a campsite. Most campgrounds have a dump station for this.

Where things are
- The gray water drain is on the driver side, about halfway between the driver door and the back of the van.
- The slinky hose has its own compartment, just behind the drain toward the back of the van.
Tip: line up the middle of the van with the dump station and you'll be in a good spot.
To empty
- Unscrew the cover on the hose compartment and pull out the slinky hose.
- Unscrew the drain cap on the gray tank and connect the hose.
- Lift the metal cover on the dump station inlet and put the end of the hose into it. Make sure it's in securely. You can use the included elbow piece, but it isn't necessary.
- Go back to the drain and pull the release lever. The water will drain.
- When the water stops, push the release lever closed.
- Disconnect the hose from the van and put the drain cap back on.
- Close up the hose: cap one end, compress it, then cap the other end. Doing it in that order keeps air pressure from building up inside.
- Put the hose back in its compartment and screw the cover on.
